Everyone always has their own emotions, their feelings are probably the only thing that they can keep to themselves. But sometimes you just can’t keep them in no longer than you have already. Sometimes an outburst will happen. Tears might fall, laughter might pop and you may just seem so weak.
Feelings, thoughts, wishes, dreams; they’re the things you can hide away in your treasure chest. But they wouldn’t be what you call treasures, just things that you want to hide away - something only for you to know about. It’s great that you have the skill to hide away your feelings, but always make sure it doesn’t overflow.
For your own good.
If you can’t keep your feelings locked anymore, then that would be when it falls apart. Even if one person sees you crying, then the only thing that’s going to happen is that they’re going to ask questions. And then what can you do? Will you lie? Cover it up? Or tell them the truth?
Sometimes instead of holding all the burden upon yourself, you just need to let go.
It may seem like such a task, but letting go of something that you don’t want, usually is the best thing to do…
Unless you want to hold onto it for some reason, but you need to know why you want to hold on…
Otherwise, if you don’t understand your own feelings and then have an outburst, won’t it simply cause more of a problem than how it was before?
There will always be people out there to care for you, no matter what; even if you don’t know them now, you’ll meet them sooner or later. And then those who care will ask questions, because what else can they do?
To see one you care for cry or fall apart, wouldn’t you want to know what’s going on? But when that person asks, and you don’t know how you feel or what to do;
what do you say?
Falling slowly, eyes that know me
And I can’t go back
Moods that take me and erase me
And I’m painted black <3
